He is survived by: his children, Sherry Vavra (Robert) of Buena Vista, Laurie Thompson (David) of Bluffton and Matthew Frazee of Laverne, Tennessee; his sister Sue Murray (David Bush) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jessica Salazar (Ricky), Kianna Thomas, Niko Thomas, Grace Vavra and Trevor Thompson; and his great grandchild Navi Salazar.
