He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Ardell Elliott and Mary Elizabeth Ferrell Elliott; his wife Bettye Jane Paschall Elliott; and his grandson Justin Woodruff. He is survived by : his close friend Shirley Newman of Buchanan, TN; his children, Connie Harris (David Keith) of Martin, TN and Richard Elliott of Paris, TN; his sister Janie Sadler (Freddy) of Pilot Oak, KY; his grandson Brent Woodruff; and his great grandchildren, Ashley Taylor, Payton Woodruff and Kameron Woodruff.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
