Violet Rae Coley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Rae Coley of Buchanan, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee F. Nelson and Vernice Gregory Nelson; and her siblings, Carol Kobus and Quincy Nelson. She is survived by: her husband James J. Coley, Sr.; her children, Clay Coley (Tracy) and Cindy Murphy; her stepson James J. Coley Jr. (Cyndi); her grandchildren, Brandi Coley, Amanda Wintersteen, Misty McLain, James A. Coley (Talia) and Sonny McLain; and her sisters, Kay Nelson and Iris Fentor. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the McEvoy Funeral Home, Inc. (507 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
