He was predeceased by: his brother Brian Savoy. He is survived by: his daughters, Adelaide Plaisance of Buchanan, TN and Cecilia "Kat" Plaisance of Buchanan, TN; his sister Pam Plaisance (Gerald) of New Orleans, LA; his uncles, Donald Plaisance (Lola) of New Orleans, LA and Kenny Landwehr (Toni) of Thibodaux, LA; and his aunt Wanda Barrios of Marrero, LA.. He is also survived by his mother, wife.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a go fund me page to assist with his daughters' college education.
