It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Lane Lawrence of Brush Creek, Tennessee, born in Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Phillip departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Phillip. Though Phillip may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brother Greg Lawrence; and his grandparents, James and Annie Odell Summers. He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Summers of Brush Creek and Frank Lawrence of Smithville; and his children, Molly Lawrence of Smithville, Matthew Lawrence of Smithville and Hunter Summers of Memphis. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the DeKalb Cemetery (3027 McMinnville Hwy, Smithville, TN 37166).
