He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Buck and Gertrude Sol Brooks; his son Alexander Presley; and his siblings, Karen Murdock, Jeanne Henson and Pasquel Cleveland.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Elaine "Charlie" Brooks of Brush Creek; his daughter April Ford of Brush Creek; and his grandchildren, Hadley Nicks, Hayden Nicks and Maddux Presley.
