It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Bass Simpson of Bruceton, Tennessee, born in Newbern, Tennessee, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Bass and Edith Hilton Bass; her children, Judith Ann Bass, Jimmy Callahan and Bobby Callahan; and her brother Jasper Bass.
She is survived by: her husband Malcolm Lee Simpson of Bruceton, Tennessee; and her children, Elmo Bass (Marilyn) of Arlington, Tom Callahan (Chris) of Marana, Arizona and Mary Callahan (Jerry Linton) of Camden. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
