He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Harris and Clara Harris; and his brother Clint Hugh Harris. He is survived by: his girlfriend Frances Humphrey; his children, Duff Harris (Jenni), Sara Oliver (Chance) and Kate Hazlewood (Ben); his grandchildren, Liam, Meg Harris, Grace, Emma, Kennedy Oliver, Sam and Jack Hazlewood; his sister Sue Wright; his niece Stephanie Tatum (Mike); his nephew Spencer Harris; and the mother of his children Martha Harris.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The University of Tennessee Athletics Annual Fund.
