He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hopper and Ruth Tubbs Hopper; his wife Carol Lee Hopper; his daughter Cynthia Carol Himes; and his siblings, Wilma Lowery, Verna Mae Jackson, Norman Hopper, Robert Hopper, Leslie Hopper and Murphy Gene Hopper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Phyllis Hopper of Hollow Rock and Jackie Hopper of Jackson; his brother Wes Hopper of Hollow Rock; his grandchildren, Amber Sam, Brittany Harris, Savanna Hopper and Jacob Wilkes; and his great grandchildren, Madison Minard, Lily Sam, Kylan Milton and Rowan Rice.
