He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Elrod and Ruby Mae Byrd Elrod; his siblings, Billy Elrod, Virginia Austin, Katherine Elrod and Annie Frank Wyatt; and his brother-in-law Norman Kelly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy Elrod of Brownsville, TN, Donnie Elrod (Bessie) of Savannah, TN, Bettye Kelly of Brownsville, TN, Carol Kiser of Colorado Springs, CO and Brenda Gatlin of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
