He is survived by: his children, William Lloyd "Bill" Thomas, Jr. and Susan Thomas Garland (Bobby); his sister Marie Outlaw (Allen); and his grandchildren, Katie Garland Norris (Jared) and Sara Garland Couch (Matthew).
