He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Blanchard and Deloris Blanchard (Cramer); his son Charles "Chuck" Blanchard; his sister Christina Davis; and his parents-in-law, Riley and Frances Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Blanchard of Hamilton, Illinois; his children, William Blanchard (Sarah) of Montrose, Mary Blanchard (Andy Gregory) of Hamilton, James Blanchard (Brittany) of Hamilton and John England of Hamilton; his sister Margaret Brosi of Alcoa; his aunt Emma Cathey of Brownsville; his grandchildren, Rikki Blanchard, Samantha Spiker, Christopher Blanchard, Shaine Blanchard, Selena Blanchard, Riley Blanchard and Seth Blanchard; and his brother-in-law Virgil Davis of Kalona, Iowa.. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
