She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Lela Jewel Austin Canady; her husband Roy Lynn Leggett; her brothers, Marshall Canady and Cecil Canady; and her son-in-law Bob Killen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Killen of Brownsville, TN. and Debbie Young (Billy) of Brownsville, TN.; her grandson Daniel Shane Stephens; and her great grandchild Daniel Shane Stephens, Jr..

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (401 Margin St, Brownsville, TN 38012).
