He is survived by: his mother Sue Pauline Groves Gaters of Brownsville, TN; his wife Sherri Outlaw Gaters; his son Hunter Gaters (Felicity) of Bells, TN; his brothers, Danny Gaters (Janet) of Brownsville, TN and Walter Gaters of Mercer, TN.; his nephews, Taylor Outlaw, Bradley Gaters, Russell Gaters and Justin Gaters; and his niece Stacey Gaters.
