It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Cathy Jones of Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Sarah Cathy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sarah Cathy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lee Jones and Ophelia Hammond Jones; and her son Larry Lamont Fouse. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Vonsha Wilson (Christopher); her siblings, Joe Lee Jones, Jr. (Janice), Hazel Walker (Eugene) and Linda Walker Brenda (Tommy); her grandchildren, Shadaysha Witherspoon, ShaDallisa Price, Christona Wilson and Maurkice Fouse; and her godchildren, Khadejah Hodge and RonDarius McFarland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. John Baptist Church (11055 TN-76, Stanton, TN 38069).
