It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Nell Austin Goodman (Brownsville, Tennessee), who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Austin and Etta Austin McDowell; her children, Kenneth Goodman and Tina Ilene Goodman; her in-laws, George and Pauline Goodman; her grandson Wesley Goodman; and her siblings, Rickey Austin, Peggy Austin and Linda Cannon.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Goodman of Whiteville, TN; her son Bobby Goodman (Susan) of Brownsville, TN; her siblings, Ronnie Austin, Billy Austin, Jesse Kirkland and Caron Shackelford (Johnny); her granddaughters, Chelsea Freels, Carrie Evans (Cliff), Anna Elrod (Dallas) and Samantha Hasapis (Aaron); and her great grandchildren, Bryson Evans, Kelynn Evans, Gannon Elrod, Luke Elrod and Adyson Hasapis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home (1280 S Dupree St, Brownsville, TN 38012). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (317 Mt Pleasant Rd, Whiteville, TN 38075).
