With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sammy Long of Brownsville, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2024 at the age of 48. He is survived by : his parents, Phillip Long and Sandy Long of Millington, TN; his wife Mandy Long of Brownsville, TN; his children, Sam Long Jr. of Brownsville, TN and Chloe Long of Brownsville, TN; his sisters, Niki Long of Millington, TN and Natalie Benham of Millington, TN; and his grandchildren, Tripp Richardson, Emma Mitchell and Lacey Long.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home (1280 S Dupree St, Brownsville, TN 38012). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the West Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3099 West Union Rd, Millington, TN 38053.
