She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Smith and Rebecca Ross Smith; and her siblings, Dorothy S. Huffman, Billy M., Sam and John Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Escue (James) and Rhonda Evans (Widow); her grandchildren, Katrina Ellis (Joe), Matthew Shearon, Joshua Shearon (Lauren) and Bradley Evans (Bridget); her great grandchildren, Katie Ellis, Katelyn Evans, Josie Shearon, Ayden Ellis, Addison Shearon, Raine Shearon, Breyden Evans and Caroline Shearon; and her sister Rebecca Morris (Jimmy) of Brownsville.
