She is survived by: her children, Rev. Carl William "Bill" Gruenewald III (Betsy Reid) and Katherine Noel Gruenewald Watts (Allen) of Brownsville; her grandsons, Rev. Will Gruenewald (Jill), John Watts (Elizabeth) and David Watts (Mary Paige); her stepgrandson Walker Thornton (Dannon); and her great grandchildren, Alynna, Alden Gruenewald and Mary Frances Watts.
