He was predeceased by: his parents, Battle Shaw, Sr. and Mae Jackson Shaw; and his sisters, Bess Shaw Adkins and Chloe Shaw Lloyd. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Bond Shaw; and his nieces, Beth Tripp (Billy) and Jane Hayes (Warren).
