With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Mae Walker (Brownsville, Tennessee), who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Woodland and Elizabeth Woodland; her spouse Zack Walker, Sr.; her daughter Hattie Mae Walker; and her sisters, Mary Shelley, Ada Dickerson, Anna Bell Britton, Thelma Jones and Josie B. Yates.

She is survived by: her children, Josie Davis, Idella Walker, Geneva Woods of Waukesha, Anna Faye Woods (Charles) of Waukegan, Illinois, Zack Walker, Jr. of Milwaukee, Donnell Walker of Chicago, IL, John D. Walker (Martina) of Chicago, IL, Martin Walker (Dinecha) of Brownsville, TN and Allen Walker of Brownsville, TN; and her sisters, Katherine Wilder of Decatur, IL and Pearline Weddles of Stackton, CA.. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
