She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Hamilton and Lyde Davis Hamilton; her brother-in-law Gordon Pfund; and her nephew Wil Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Ted Butler of Brownsville; her daughter Leigh Manasco-Pollan (Brian); her sister Dianne Hamilton Pfund; and her nephew James Hamilton Thompson (Stacy Wright) of Memphis.
