Jimmie Welch Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2024, at the age of 89, Jimmie Welch (Brownsville, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Goodloe Welch and Ramsey Lynn Hawkins Welch; his siblings, Louis Haak, Jack Lee Haak, John Welch, Joseph Madison Welch, Maryann Haak Merryman and Annie Ransey Welch Parham; and his granddaughter Kaylee Swain.

He is survived by: his daughter Kim Welch (James Avery); his close friend Barbara Sue Petty; his siblings, Jarman Welch and Jane Welch Hopkins (Dickie); and his grandchildren, Amanda Ellington Murphy and Mason Ellington (Jessie).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home (1280 S Dupree St, Brownsville, TN 38012). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Bond Cemetery (443 Bond Cemetery Rd, Denmark, TN 38391).

The family has requested memorials be made to the Bond Cemetery Trust, c/o Bob Bond, 5236 Brownsville Hwy, Denmark, TN 38391.
