He was predeceased by: his father O. B. Austin; and his siblings, Thomas Earl Austin and Betty Sue Norris. He is survived by: his wife Norma Faye Austin; his children, Chris Austin (Deana) and Jessica Elrod Witherspoon (Marcus); his siblings, Kim Allen Austin (Tina), Billy Roe Austin (Charlotte), Reba Nell Austin, Shelia Kay Austin and Janet Fay Tinsley; his brother-in-law Ben Norris; and his grandchildren, Allison, Hayleigh, Trent, Rylee, Matthew, Sydney and Cooper.
The family has requested memorials be made to the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home, 1280 S. Dupree Ave., Brownsville, TN toward the funeral expenses.
