He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his parents, Willie Ferrell and Margie Ferrell; and his brothers, Raymond, Donald, Ezell, Charles and Billy Ferrell.

He is survived by: his son Troy; his daughter-in-law Allison Ferrell of Brownsville; and his siblings, Ann Ferrell Snowden, Eddie, Mark, Willie, Harold, Steve and Roger Dale Ferrell.
