He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ivan Long and Veta Abernathy Long; his sons, Jeffrey Long and Michael Long; and his siblings, Jerry, Johnny, Ronnie "Bull" of Lindell, J. D, Bobby, Jackie, David Long, Patsy Long, Debbie Yates and Tootie Long.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lynn Hudson Long; and his daughter Shannon Long. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
