He is survived by: his siblings, Lillian Smith (Alfred), Katherine Azmoun, Thomas Bond (Teo) and Glen Bond (Pattie); his children, James Bond, Jr., Dr. Helen Bond, Craig Bond and Eunice Bond; and his grandchildren, Dwight Bond Jr., Brandy Bond, Chanel Jefferson, Adam Jefferson, Jason Vocal, Kyle Bond, Bryant Bond, Christopher Cotton, Brianna Bond, Tiffany Cotton, James Ike Bond, Danielle Bond, Talia Bond, Alexis Flohrschutz (Bond), LaNyce Bond and Craig Bond, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
