She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Allen Ray Permenter; her parents, Aldon Dee Edwards and Allie Faye Armes Edwards; and her siblings, Cora Ann Edwards, Joe Aldon Edwards Sr. and Sammy Hiram Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Clement (David), Susie Lovell, Martha Barry (Charles), Jackie Baggett and Gene Permenter (Susan); her sister-in-law Janey Covey Edwards; and her grandchildren, Aldon Clement, Allie Thomas, Chelsea Matamoros, Kyle Lovell, Ben Lovell, Jack Lovell, Houston Barry, Sam Barry, Rae Barry, Austin Baggett, Graham Baggett, Wil Permenter and Seth Permenter. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
