She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Gladys E. Johnson; her parents, Blair Macklin and Ida Macklin; and her sisters, Delores Ann Glass and Erma Macklin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Jelks (Jerry) of Brownsville, TN, Debra Johnson of Brownsville, TN and Ida Johnson of Nashville, TN.; her grandchildren, Demetrice Parker, Antonio Batey, Avis Swift and Lakesha Vaughn; her close friend Samuel Hamilton; and her nephew Alford Macklin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
