He was predeceased by: his father James Marvin Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Porter Mitchell of Brownsville, TN; his mother Rosemary Jo King Mitchell of Texarkana, AR; his children, Steven Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell, Gary Mitchell and Stephanie VanDouser; and his brothers, Daniel Mitchell and Don Mitchell. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
