She was predeceased by: her former husband Joe Swain; her parents, Jessie Freels and Ruby Pittman Freels; her children, Bobby Joe Swain, Jimmy Swain, Johnny Swain and Susie Crawford; her siblings, J. W. Freels, Joe Freels, Francis Elrod, Ruby Freels, Dorothy Austin and Alice Elrod; her grandson Billy Joe Forsythe; and her great grandchild Lucky King.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Forsythe; her daughters, Diane Watson (Brian), Carol Young (Brett) of Dyersburg, TN and Anita Johnson of Bradford, TN; and her sister Barbara Kirkland. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
