He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilbur Mann and Lollie Mann of Brownsville; his brother John Gregory Mann; and his grandson Christopher Jordan Currie. He is survived by: his daughters, Akiba Mann of Brownsville, Christine Aiken of Hilton Head, SC and Chloe Mann of Houston; his siblings, Virtress Lynn Boatwright (Jack) of Atlanta, GA, Charlotte Mann of Goodlettsville, Dollie Estelle Wells (Robert), NJ, Clifford Mann of Nashville and Clayton Mann of Brownsville; his grandchildren, Jeremy Barron and Laila Hayes; his great grandchild Khloe Currie; his nieces and nephews, Shannon Mann-Faye, Ashley Mann, Augustus Mann, Jelani Moore, Joseph Wells, Kaleb Hall and Macy Hall; his goddaughters, Nikki McClendon and Ne'Tanya Young; his stepson William "Bill" Taylor; and his close friends, Pamela Burgess, Willie "Shampoo" Perry, Allen "Bodacious" Jackson, Jr., Milton Pirtle and Jean Elkins.
With social distancing restrictions in place, services will be Sunday, January 3, 2021, at 3:30 P. M., graveside at Woodlawn Baptist Church Cemetery in Brownsville.
