We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2022, at the age of 44, Christy Dowdy Brummett of Brownsville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Ann Love Thomas Dowdy. She is survived by: her father Leroy Dowdy of Brownsville, TN; her husband Ben Brummett; her children, James Dregon Baird of Brownsville, TN, Charles Dillon Baird of Brownsville, TN, Lee Dalton Baird of Brownsville, TN and Karmen Brummett of Brownsville; and her brothers, Bobby Allen Burton and Bobby Russell Burton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home, 1280 S Dupree Avenue, Brownsville, TN 38012.
