She was predeceased by : her mother Ann Love Thomas Dowdy. She is survived by : her father Leroy Dowdy of Brownsville, TN; her husband Ben Brummett; her children, James Dregon Baird of Brownsville, TN, Charles Dillon Baird of Brownsville, TN, Lee Dalton Baird of Brownsville, TN and Karmen Brummett of Brownsville; and her brothers, Bobby Allen Burton and Bobby Russell Burton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home, 1280 S Dupree Avenue, Brownsville, TN 38012.
