He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Fowler and Velma Helms Fowler; his son Wes Fowler; and his sister Vernice Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Martha Fowler; his daughter Kristi Fowler Snowden (Jim); his siblings, Jimmy Fowler (Eddie Dale), Joseph Fowler (Patricia), Ricky Fowler, Donnie Fowler (Pat), Danny Fowler (Maurine), Bruce Fowler (Donna), Virginia Boggs, Carolyn Watson (Arthur), Doris Jones (Billy), Betty Swafford (Jerry) and Janice Moody (Collice); and his grandchildren, Julia Snowden and Caleb Snowden.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
