It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Crenshaw Perry of Brownsville, Tennessee, born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen and Francis Crenshaw. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Perry; her children, Bill Currie (Julia), Allen Currie (Cindy) and Cathy Powell (Mark); her stepsons, Kevin Perry (Cindy) and Shane Perry; her sister Betty Crenshaw; and her caregivers, Mary Ann Davis, Mary Fridley, Ruth Vestal, Pat Culp and Audrey Dornan. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests that any donations in her honor be made to the First United Methodist Church, 117 E. Franklin Street, Brownsville, TN 38012, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
