He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Earl Cox and Sarah Frances Perry Cox; his brother Don Cox of Thomasville, GA; and his pet Stella. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Ferge-Cox; his sons, Jon Cox Patmore (Bonnie) of Richmond, VA, Jacob Cox and Joe Cox of Ft. Collins, CO; his siblings, Edgar Perry Cox of Kennesaw, GA and Donna Cox Heron of Brownsville, TN; his grandson Finn of Richmond, VA; his aunt Jane Neal of Tyler, TX; and his cousin Mac Perry of Brownsville, TN. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many wonderful friends.
