He was predeceased by: his parents, O. B. Austin and Martha Nell Austin; and his siblings, Thomas Earl Austin (Tommy), Jesse Lee Austin and Betty Sue Norris.
He is survived by: his significant other Charlotte Forsythe; his sons, Wesley Austin and Joseph Austin (Courtney); his significant other's children, Jessica Siler (Brian), Brandie Stephens (John), Kara Ferrara and Shian Nathanial; his siblings, Kim Allen Austin (Tina), Reba Nell Austin, Shelia Kay Austin and Janet Fay Tinsley; and his grandchildren, Brian, Jr., Kaylee, Cayla, Carley, Callie, Gintry, Chloie, Jakob and Mia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home (1280 S Dupree St, Brownsville, TN 38012). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
