He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentice Medford and Mary Baynes Roberson; and his sister Mary E. Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Ann Davis Medford of Brownsville, TN; his son Mark Medford (Suzanne) of Memphis, TN; and his nephew Blake Hurst of Australia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Cemetery, c/o Mary Jane Baggett, 74 Tibbs-Forked Deer Rd., Brownsville, TN 38012, or to a charity of donor's choice.
