He was predeceased by: his wife Bettye Conley Mann; his daughter Betty "Connie" Mann; and his brothers, Fred Thomas Mann and Louis Claiborne Mann. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Evelyn Mann Pafford; his son-in-law Larry Pafford of Alamo, TN; his grandchildren, Tracy Kail (Jeff) and Kevin Pafford; his sister Sue MacPhail; his brother-in-law Bob Parks (Michael Rutherford) of Brownsville, TN; and also Teresa Smith.
