With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Dean Kilgore Jr. (Bristol, Tennessee), who passed away on September 21, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Bill; his sister Margaret K Ekvall; and his brothers-in-law, Pat Ekvall, Carl Compton and Michael Callahan.

He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Matney (Roscoe), Dorothy Callahan and Nancy Compton; his wife Christa Sutherland Kilgore; his children, Jennifer Kilgore Hollon (Ralph Michael) and William Dean Kilgore III (Bill); his grandchildren, Emily Hollon Hager (Nicholas), William Dean Kilgore IV (Billy) and Mary Alison Kilgore Cox (Alex); his great grandchildren, Brandon Travis Hager, Lilly Grace Hager, Amelia Dean Cox and Braelyn Tackett; his stepsons, Ashley Schwartz, Michael Tackett (Kim), Christopher Tackett and Justin Tackett (Jess); his stepgrandchildren, Rachel, Levi, Leah, Jayde Tackett, Hannah S. Lovelace and Isabella S. Barber; and his close friend Coco.
