She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Gilliam; and her former husband Mark Whitaker. She is survived by: her daughters, Christi Whitaker and Tiffney Whitaker; her grandchildren, Allison Whorton and James Whorton IV; her niece Kim Vires (Matthew); and her friends, Jon Martin, Gizmo, Baby, Big Wiggle and Little Wiggle. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
