It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Jean Gibson of Bristol, Tennessee, born in Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. V. Cox and Adeline Cox; her husband Bill Gibson; and her son John Gibson. She is survived by: her daughters, Lesa Wilson of Bristol, TN and Amanda Stewart (Mark) of Knoxville, TN.; her grandchildren, Lynsey Marie Wilson, Hannah Rose Gibson and Adeline Estelle Stewart; and her caregiver Sue Perry.
