He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gross and Ella Rust Gross; his daughter Robin Gross Fields; his siblings, Gene Gross, Wade Gross and Thelma Gross Morrell; and his parents-in-law, Dobbie and Maymie Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Hudson Gross; his daughter Kimberly Arnold (Richard); his grandchildren, Joseph Fields (Samantha), Melinda Fields (Mindy), Tyler Arnold and Kaitlyn Arnold (Joe Moore); his great grandchildren, Gavin Eads, Tripp Fields, Ava and Hudson Fields; and his sister Joan Monger Belcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
