She was predeceased by: her husband Glen L. Mikeal; her children, Rick Arend and Karen Arend; her parents, Estel H. Keesee and Mary Cecil Jackson Keesee; her brothers, Clifford Hayes, Homer Dale and Jimmy Lynn Keesee; her sister-in-law Dorothy Stigall Keesee; her niece Mitzi Keesee Miller; and her grandparents, Jessee Hope (Nannie Ellen Walling) and Pleasant John (Mattie Parkerson Jackson).
She is survived by: her son Rob Arend (Danja) of Chandler, AZ; her sisters, Judy Keesee Brownlee (Barry) of Knoxville, TN and Donna Keesee (Melanie West) of DeLand, FL; her sister-in-law Martha Keesee (Susan Keesee) of Abingdon, VA; and her granddaughter Sarah Newell (Josh). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1019 Valley Dr, Bristol, VA 24201).
