She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Perkey and Ethel Dye Perkey; her husband Valley Eugen Whittington; her siblings, James, Fred, Robert, Orville, Jessie Perkey, Minnie Perkey, Mae Bunton and Bessie Rosenbaum; and her daughter-in-law Pamela Perkey.

She is survived by: her sons, Randy Perkey and Ronald Whittington (Hope Cole); her grandchildren, Christopher Whittington (Raven Finch), Dylan Hooven, Jacob Cutler (Sarah Chaffin), Summer Whittington (Jonathan Campbell), Tiffany Adams and Sarah Cole of Bristol; and her brother Cecil Perkey of Galion, OH..
