He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Winfred and Norma Jean Rowlette Ervin; his wife Pamela Rose Ervin; his daughters, Jennifer Lawson (Michael), Stephanie Ervin, Melissa Ervin and Kristen Dempsey (Drew); his grandchildren, Luke Lawson, Andyn Dempsey and Camryn Meade; and his sisters, Connie Whitaker and Teresa Williams-Miller. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
