We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2023, at the age of 93, Ruby Swift McVey of Bristol, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Merle McVey; her parents, Wilburn "Bill" Swift and Mary Sue Denton Swift; and her brother Bill Swift of Elizabethton, TN.. She is survived by: her sister Ruth Swift Tester of Elizabethton, TN; her children, Paul Fleenor (Vicki) of Bristol, VA and Dottie Fleenor of Charlotte, NC; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Swift of Elizabethton, TN, Dixie Jolly (Don) of Abingdon, VA and Dean McVey of Bristol, TN; and her stepsons, Rick McVey (Bunny) of Bristol, VA and Chris McVey of Bristol, VA. She is also survived by many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
