He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy L. Halladay and Roy Thomas Carey; and his sister Jeanette Potapski. He is survived by: his wife Anita P. Carey; his daughter Annamarie Faidley (James); his granddaughter Torey Faidley; his sons, Douglas Carey (Sandy), Wayne Carey (Tracey) and Perry Pruitt; his grandsons, David Carey and Elijah; his sister Joyce Ann Bush; his daughters, Dindee Lee Cordiero and Doris Ann Mace; his sister Elaine McBennett; his son John McBennett; his brother William Albert Carey; and his daughter Melissa Carey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
