He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar L. Ward and Mildred Vernon Ward; his siblings, John "Jakie" Ward, Robert Ward, James Ward and Vannie Booher; and his brother-in-law Herbert Trinkle.
He is survived by: his siblings, William "Billy" Ward (Donna), Sharon Ward and Lillian "Shirley" Trinkle; his half-sister Shirley Burton-Wheeler; and his close friends, Danny Binkley and Linda Widner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army in memory of Roy.
