Rebecca Boyd Harr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025, Rebecca Boyd Harr of Bristol, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Douglas Harr; her parents, Katherine Boyd and Fred Boyd; her siblings, Jane Boyd Hughes, Ruth Ann Boyd Shook and Isaac Boyd; and her siblings-in-law, Clarence Harr (Dorothy), Willard Harr (Jerrie), Herman Harr (Betty), Dale Harr, Lucille Harr Winegar (Grove) and Sue Harr Wagner (Fred).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Harr Rhyne (Gordon) of Powell and Ella Harr Payne (Virgil) of Jackson, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Molly Rhyne, Jacob Rhyne, Anderson Payne, Mary Harr Payne, Reeve Payne and Boyd Payne; her siblings-in-law, Wayne Harr (Vivian) of Blountville, Ann Harr Mays (Charles) of Blountville and Virginia Harr of Kingsport; and her caregiver Adrian Hicks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Akard Funeral Home (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Et Akard Funeral Home (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620).
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Bancroft Bible Camp in Kingsport, Tennessee.
